CPEP News
- CPEP welcomes Dr. Jack Williams as the new Bryson Distinguished Professor, beginning Fall 2008.
|
- CPEP welcomes Dr. Simone Riehl of the University of Tuebingen, Stuttgart, Germany as the 2006-2007 CPEP Postdoctoral Fellow.
Dr. Riehl is an archaeobotanist working in the Mediterranean and Near East. One of her current projects is an Archaeobotanical Database for the region.

- Dr. Samantha Kaplan was a keynote speaker at the Geography Student Research Symposium on Friday, April 7, 2006. "When a tree falls in the forest ... if no one was there, does it still tell a story? Or, a summary of recent tree-ring applications to climate science in the central U.S."
